Cross Field Snap Shooting + Running & Shooting Drill

 

This is a two phase drill with multiple objectives and consequences. The drill works on cross field snap shooting accuracy, moving and shooting with limited shots, consequences for misses which simulates being exhausted towards the end of the match, and straight forward snap shooting. 

First, you need two targets and four bunkers. I prefer metal targets because it helps distinguish misses vs hits. You can make the drill more challenging by moving the bunkers further away or by reducing the size of the targets. Also you can add more push-ups or other consequences. 

Phase 1: 

Snap shoot the target across field 3x in a row.
Move from one bunker to the other using three shots only to hit the target.
(If you miss all three shots you have to drop & do three push-ups before continuing)
Repeat same drill back to the other bunker. 

Phase 2:

Snap shoot target directly in front of you 1x

Snap shoot the target across field 3x in a row.
Move from one bunker to the other using three shots only to hit the target.
(If you miss all three shots you have to drop & do three push-ups before continuing)
Repeat same drill back to the other bunker. 
You can repeat the drill or add multiple reps per phase.
